Sarah M. DeFranco focuses her practice on counseling employers regarding complying with federal and state employment laws, developing workplace policies and practices, drafting employee handbooks and employment agreements, and properly classifying workers as independent contractors. Sarah also defends management in employment litigation arising under Title VII, the ADEA, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and related state laws. Sarah has significant experience in defending Charges of Discrimination pending before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and related state agencies. Sarah also has experience litigating claims to enforce restrictive covenants in employment contracts.
