Robert Slavkin practices healthcare law representing a variety of clients within the healthcare industry, providing guidance on complex issues including compliance with all appropriate federal and state statutes and regulations. These include federal anti-kickback, Stark laws, Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and FDA regulations, as well as operational and compliance issues facing healthcare clients. Robert has developed significant experience regarding the Affordable Care Act and how accountable care plays a part in health reform in the United States, and also provides guidance regarding Medicare Managed Care and the Part D programs. Robert speaks regularly throughout the U.S. on an array of healthcare issues, including compliance and development of compliance programs under the federal requirements, HIPAA matters, as well as other relevant issues.
