Rick Hurt devotes his practice primarily to estate planning, probate, charitable trusts, and employee benefits including 401(k) plans, profit sharing plans, and welfare benefit plans. He counsels clients on transferring family businesses and other assets through tax-advantaged planning and is very knowledgeable in the use of charitable planning. He also advises clients in preparing and administering tax-qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and in consolidating plans in mergers and acquisitions.
