John Macdonald, office managing shareholder for Akerman's Jacksonville office, was quoted in a Jacksonville Daily Record article, "The Florida Bar Business Law Section Nonprofit Organization Pro Bono Legal Services Clinic." The article discusses how nonprofits will have the opportunity to meet with attorneys who can provide legal guidance and direction. Coordinated by Florida Legal Services Inc., the clinics will be held in Jacksonville, Tampa, and Miami. John, the Section's liaison stated, "The Florida Bar Business Law Section's nonprofit initiative will provide a forum for assistance by transactional attorneys who are able to provide guidance in areas such as contracts, employment, construction, real estate and corporate structure.”
