Akerman Senterfitt Names Kenneth Alberstadt New Chair of Securities Practice

Akerman Senterfitt today announced that shareholder Kenneth Alberstadt has been named chair of the firm’s Securities Practice. Alberstadt is based in the firm's New York office and has extensive experience advising clients in connection with corporate finance transactions and SEC compliance matters.
As chair of the Securities Practice, Alberstadt will lead a team of lawyers including former SEC professionals from the Division of Corporation Finance and the Division of Enforcement in Washington, D.C., New York, and Miami. Lawyers in the Securities Practice represent issuers, underwriters, broker-dealers, private equity and venture capital funds and institutional investors in connection with corporate finance transactions in the United States and internationally.
