Rasesh Thakkar, senior managing director of the Tavistock Group, and speaker at the Akerman U.S. Real Estate Summit, was interviewed by Matthew Bechard, editor-in-chief of REIT.com. According to Thakkar, the practice of healthcare is changing as the industry focuses more on outpatient services and patient comfort. Additionally, Thakkar noted that he expects to continue to see a combination of healthcare, as well as prevention and personal services, being offered in one building or area.
