Todd Pittenger Joins Akerman Senterfitt

Todd Pittenger has joined Akerman Senterfitt as a shareholder within the Litigation Practice Group and will be based in Akerman's Orlando office.
Pittenger has 23 years of experience in handling business litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout Florida and elsewhere, with a focus on class action defense, federal question and diversity cases, and commercial matters of all kinds and descriptions. He is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Business Litigation.
Pittenger's court admissions include all U.S. District courts in Florida, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals Federal Circuit, the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. A past president of the Federal Bar Association Orlando Chapter, Pittenger also has served as the Eleventh Circuit Vice-President for the national Federal Bar Association. He is ranked for Commercial Litigation by The Best Lawyers in America; Business Litigation by Super Lawyers magazine; and Florida Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine. He joins from Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A., in Orlando, where he was a shareholder since 1995, and is admitted to The Florida Bar.
Pittenger is a graduate of Leadership Orlando and Leadership Winter Park, a member of the George C. Young First Central Florida American Inn of Court, and volunteers at the Orange County Legal Aid Society.
