Ned Nashban and Daniel Rosenthal join Akerman Senterfitt’s Expanding Litigation Practice Group

Akerman Senterfitt today announced the expansion of its Litigation Practice Group with the additions of shareholders Ned Nashban and Daniel Rosenthal to the team in the firm's Boca Raton office.
“Trial law is a significant area of focus for the firm, and the addition of Ned and Daniel to the talented group of attorneys in our litigation practice group will help meet the growing needs of our clients in this area,” said James Miller, chair of Akerman’s National Litigation Practice Group.
Nashban has more than 30 years of experience in the areas of maritime law, business law, commercial litigation, bankruptcy or creditor's rights, and problem loan workouts. His global practice focus includes prosecuting or defending litigation in or related to bankruptcy cases, including preference claims, fraudulent transfer claims, and non-dischargeability litigation, and the representation of purchasers of assets out of bankruptcy estates. In addition, Nashban has a vast amount of maritime and admiralty experience in North and South America, the Caribbean, and in the Middle East. He works with clients worldwide including those in the United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, China, Italy, and Israel.
Rosenthal has more than 20 years of litigation experience and focuses his practice on the representation of national and multinational corporations, financial institutions, and individuals in complex cases pending in both state and federal courts and before arbitration tribunals throughout the United States. His experience has included, among other things, insurance earn-out litigation, class action products liability defense, trade secret litigation, fraud actions, and commercial and joint venture disputes of various types. Both Nashban and Rosenthal join Akerman from Greenberg Traurig.
