Breach of Contract:
Assisted in the representation of a large frozen food producer in a breach of contract lawsuit against a coupon redemption company. Obtained an appointment of a "limited receiver" over the Defendant corporation's books and records and eventually obtained entry of a final judgment for $3.5 million in favor of our client, including all of the client's damages and attorneys' fees.
Class Action Defense:
Assisted in the class action defense of one of the largest equipment rental companies in North America in a multi-state class action instituted by corporate customers alleging excessive transportation and fuel surcharges.
Real Estate Litigation:
Assisted in the representation of a commercial lender in connection with the foreclosure of commercial shopping center in Miami arising from a payment default on a $100 million obligation.
Partnership Dispute:
Represented client in a partnership dispute involving a joint venture agreement and obtained summary judgment and affirmance on appeal from the Florida Third District Court of Appeal in favor of our clients on declaratory judgment claims implicating over $2 million.
Real Estate Litigation:
Represented property owners and lessors in a variety of lease disputes, disputes over sale and purchase agreements, and property issues.
Tort Litigation:
Assisted in representing national retail and restaurant clients in a variety of complex tort litigation including premises liability, products liability, and negligent security matters.
Judgment and Collection:
Represented national banks in the enforcement of judgment and collection efforts.
Commercial and Real Estate Foreclosures:
Represented national banks, private lenders, and private owners in numerous multi-million dollar commercial foreclosures and high value residential foreclosures.
Restaurant Sector:
Assisted in the representation of restaurant owners in lease disputes.
